There is the usual game of 'are they or aren't they?' when it comes to deciding which characters are really the baddies. The focus is on Harry's past - Sirius Black was his godfather but just may have been in league with he who's name cannot be mentioned. The plot contains the requisite amounts of twists and turns. Like an escaped madman who may just want to kill him, for example. This is Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and Harry has a whole OTHER set of problems. On one level, Harry is like any other kid at school - he puts up with torment from bullies, gets into scrapes with his teachers and hangs out with his friends. HARRY POTTER 4 ONLINE SUBTITRAT MOVIEBut the reality is that this movie is about being a teenager and all the trials and tribulations that go with it. At first glance the storyline itself is relatively simple - Sirius Black has escaped from Azkaban Prison and young Harry is on his hit list. HARRY POTTER 4 ONLINE SUBTITRAT SERIESAppropriately, this third film in the Harry Potter series has matured along with it's young stars. All in all, a flawed but quite engrossing film, that doesn't quite live up to the darkness of the book.Harry Potter is growing up! The voice is deepening, the shoulders are broadening and.hurray! You no longer feel like a creep for having a little crush on Daniel Radcliffe.whoops, did I say that out loud? Say what you will, I see him making the jump from child star to adult actor in a way that Haley Joel Osment only dreams of. I did think on a positive note that Ralph Fiennes as Voldemort was suitably scary, and with the exception of Dumbledore everyone else was well done. I didn't like the third task, and the other two were fine. My brother also noted that he didn't like the execution of the three tasks. Although Gleeson mostly succeeded with his role, I personally think he tried too hard. I have listened to the audio tapes by Stephen Fry, and I imagine Moody's voice as low and gravelly. He looked the part, but his voice wasn't exactly what I had in mind for Moody. Brendan Gleeson is a very talented actor, evident in films like In Bruges and The General. I am also on the fence about Mad Eye Moody. As I've said already, I much prefer Richard Harris as the character. I am not too keen on Michael Gambon's Dumbledore, I just don't remember Dumbledore being violent as they made him. I did wish they made Crouch's disappearance more mysterious, instead of giving it away, ruining the suspense that was quite compelling up to that scene. Roger Lloyd Pack and David Tennant were fine in their roles as the Crouches, but their characters were changed significantly. I don't think it's as dark as the book, and I wasn't too keen on some of the casting. Speaking of that scene, I adored that dress that Hermione was wearing, Emma Watson looked unrecognisable in that scene. Also the music by Patrick Doyle this time was beautiful. The film looks dazzling, especially the ballroom scene. It was cute, but interfered too much with the dark overtones of the narratives. The only thing I didn't like so much about the book, was the subplot about Hermione trying to help house elves. It is much darker than the previous outings, but not as faithful to the source material. Hermione asks Harry which potion ingredients Snape accused him of stealing and realizes they are the ingredients needed for the Polyjuice Potion. The trio speak about what Karkaroff was showing Snape on his arm.She recommends Harry goes to visit Dumbledore. Hermione believes his death, Harry's scar burning, and the Dark Mark at the Quidditch World Cup are related. Ron thinks that Fudge will prevent the story from leaking out to the public. Mad-Eye appears and Barty quickly leaves. Snape doesn't care about what Karkaroff has to say. Snape ignores him and removes house points from Fawcet and Stebbins, who briefly appear in the scene. Karkaroff tells Snape about the mark of his arm.The lead singer speaks with the audience and then starts the first song.
